SAIl Chairman oversees new CDI facility at RSP
Ranchi: Chairman SAIl, CS Verma, who is on a visit to the Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) witnessed the operationalization of the new Coal Dust Injection (CDI) facility at the 4060 cum Blast Furnace and the 3rdTurbo blower in the Power Blowing Station (PBS) on April 25. The CDI unit will reduce the cost of production in the largest Blast Furnace in the country at RSP by injecting non-coking coal for reducing coke rate. Director (Technical) SS Mohanty, Director (Projects and Business Planning) TS Suresh and CEO, RSP GS Prasad were also present on the occasion.
JCI members organise blood donation camp
Ranchi: Junior Chamber International (JCI) members organised a blood donation camp at Nagarmal Modi Seva Sadan hospital on Saturday. Around 55 unit blood was being collected in the camp. After carefully examining the blood sample of the people who came to take part in the camp the blood was squeeze out from their body.
