Sonia to address rally at Ramgarh today
AICC president Sonia Gandhi will address an election rally at Ramgarh on Friday. This is the first rally by the AICC president at Ramgarh. Gandhi will be campaigning for Congress’ candidate for Hazaribagh, Saurav Narayan Singh.
NEW SBI BRANCH inauguratED at Ramgarh
A new branch of State Bank of India was inaugurated in the Sikh Regimental Campus of Ramgarh on April 2. There has been a long standing demand by the Army personnel to bring our services of State Bank of India to their door steps. Brigadier Pushkar Hiteshi inaugurated the branch by cutting the ribbon while Praveena Kala, Deputy General Manager, State Bank of India, Ranchi Zone lighted the inaugural lamp. Brigadier Hiteshi expressed immense happiness on opening a branch of State Bank of India at Sikh Regiment Centre.
Play on politics TO BE HElD IN RANCHI on april 6
Play depicting the present political and bureaucratic set up in India titled ‘Taj Mahal ka Tender’ is scheduled to be held on April 6 at Dr Ram Dayal Munda Kala Bhawan, Ranchi. The play has successfully performed in cities across India and overseas. The writer tries to explore the possibility of Shahjahan coming alive and giving orders to construct the Taj Mahal in today’s age. It is full of writ, sarcasm and humor. The team of performers includes Rakesh Bedi, Bharat Kapoor, Avtar Gill, Bansi Thapar, Poonam Jha and Seema Sharma.
AJSU campaigns for Sudesh mahto
An election campaign was conducted by AJSU party in the leadership of Sandeep Verma to gather support for party chief Sudesh Kumar Mahto. Mahto is contesting lS election from Ranchi. The rally covered Harmu Housing Colony, Puran Vihar, Basant Vihar, Ashok Kunj and adjoining areas to seek support for Mahto.
Inter-Dept cricket meet at SAIl
SAIl’s final Inter-Department cricket meet was organised on Wednesday. The tournament had begun on December 8. As many as five teams participated here of which SAIl gold bagged the winning position with 13 runs.
AAP ORGANISES STREET PlAYS, ROAD SHOWS
AAP members of Ranchi organised street plays and road shows for their candidate Amanullah in various parts of the State capital on Thursday.
