Though Thursday’s decision of BJPs Central Committee to give a party ticket to Jayant from Hazaribagh has surprised many, but here at Hazaribagh it was in air since long that Jayant is preparing himself to bear the legacy of his father and very soon he will be in active politics.
“On the dinner table, I, Punita and Raghu (Raghu Raj Raman, present governor of RBI) were discussing with my father tax reforms (when Yashwant was finance minister) and the idea we suggested came as “saral” form of income tax which not only increased the number of taxpayers but is convenient to fill too,” said Jayant Sinha when The Pioneer asked him about his contribution in public life. Jayant also revealed that in 2004 and 2009 Parliamentary elections he worked as a team member of BJP IT wing and nowadays he is working with the team mates to make NaMo the next PM. He also hinted that the “Chai ki Choupal” program is the brainchild of his team.
