DC asks bank officials to open pending a/cs
Ranchi DC Vinay Kumar Choubey on Friday held a meeting with bank officials and asked them to dispose of the applications pending for account opening. Choubey asked bank officials to open bank accounts of beneficiaries of different schemes. Transfer of benefits in the accounts could not take place due to delay in account opening. Choubey expressed his unhappiness over inordinate delay and asked for expediting transfer of money in the accounts beneficiaries.
Toyota MD & CEO visits facility
The Managing Director (MD) & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Toyota Kirloskar Motors Hiroshi Nakagawa is on a two day business tour to Jharkhand. Nakagawa inspected company’s facilities at Ormanjhi and interacted with the employees of Toplink Toyota, company’s dealer for Ranchi. Nakagawa, on his maiden trip to Jharkhand, will travel to Jamshedpur tomorrow. Nakagawa held meeting with officials of Toplink Toyota.
Get-together at JVM office
Hundreds of people joined JVM at party’s get-together on June 14. Colonel (Retd) Sanjay Kumar Singh who hails from Hussainabad accepted membership of the party in the presence of party supremo Babulal Marandi. Welcoming Singh, Marandi said party’s base will strengthen due to educated people like Singh. Hundreds of people from Palamu also joined the party.
Silli Congress members meet Sahay
Several Congress members of Silli joined hands with Member of Parliament Subodh Kant Sahay on Friday. On this occasion, Sahay said, “Workers of Congress party are the actual foundation of this national party. It is because of their active participation that the party is able to achieve success in all measures.” Adding further he said, “Block level officers ought to work with honesty so that the villagers are benefitted with the government aided rural schemes.”
