JVM pays tribute to Bhagwan Birsa
Members of JVM paid reverence to Birsa Munda on his 112th death anniversary on Sunday. Members of JVM gathered at Birsa Munda Mausoleum in Kokar paid floral tribute to Birsa Munda for his revolt against illegal occupation and suppression of local people. General Secretary, Rajeev Ranjan Prasad and District president Rajeev Ranjan Mishra were also present on the occasion.
Birsa remembered at Hotwar Jail
A programme was organised on the death anniversary of Birsa Munda at Hotwar Jail in which Jail Superintendent Dilip Kumar Pradhan along with other officials paid floral tributes to Birsa Munda.
Cong’s division-level meets to begin
Jharkhand State Congress Committee President Sukdeo Bhagat, in order to bring the achievements if UPA-II to the common man has decided to hold commissioner level conference. To make them successful, a meeting of the heads of the different commissionaries will be held in Ranchi soon. According to the State Congress spokesperson Sailesh Sinha, meetings of the five commissionaries will be held on June 16, 17 and 18 in Ranchi. On June 16, meeting of Santhal Pargana and North Chotanagpur will be held in Ranchi. While on June 17 meetings of South Chotanagpur and Palamau Commissionery will be held. On June 18, meeting of Kolhan will take place. The meeting was attended by the MP Subodh Kant Sahay, former MPs and the members of district congress committee were present.
Summer Camp on wheel
I-FA School of Arts and Design on Sunday organised a summer camp for the under privilege kids at lowadih in Ranchi. As many as 120 children of the area comprised the basically the school dropouts who got an opportunity to forget their sorrows for a short span of time.
