A special operation was carried out in Chas police station area against those who violated the lock down. During the campaign, more than 200 motorcycles were seized by the Bokaro police for lock down violation.
A total of 200 motorcycles, from places like Garga Bridge, Check Post, Telidi Mode, Dharamshala Chowk, Mahavir Chowk Jodhadih More etc, were chased by the police in order to get out on the roads unnecessarily in Chas police station area. Penalty fees were recovered from the impounded motorcycle vehicle owners under the MVI Act. In this order a fine of ? 62500 was deducted from a total of 72 motorcycles and they were recommended for action against the rest.
