More than 200 expired injections have been found in stock at Sadar Hospital, Bokaro. These were meant to be used for the patients. In a surprise inspection of the hospital, Bokaro Deputy Commissioner Manoj Kumar found the expired injections and ordered for its immediate removal.
Kumar warned the Civil Surgeon and doctors no to repeat such mistake. He also ordered them to check all stocks and remove the medicines, which have expired.
“At least 200 expired injections (Rantac) were found during inspection. All of them expired on May 31 this year," said DC adding, “strict orders have been issued to the medical department."
