A 20 year old boy committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling rod of his house near Sunday market early in the morning on Sunday. However, no suicide note was found from the spot.
According to the Gandhinagar police, at around 5am, when Vijay Satnami alias Babu, Son of Mahesh Satnami an employee of CCl and his other family members were sleeping in their room of the CCl quarter, he hanged himself with a plastic rope from the ceiling rod.
Though the police are still clueless about the reasons behind the suicide, it is said that he had been suffering from depression. Vijay had been working in a private company in Visakhapatnam and was on leave.
The Gandhi Nagar police have registered a case of unnatural death and further investigations are on. Meanwhile, the body has been sent to Tenughat for postmortem. Vijay has been living with his parents at Sunday-bazaar from quite some time. Family members informed the police about the incident on Sunday morning, when they found his room closed from inside and he did not give any response to their calls.Vijay was brought down from the ceiling immediately, after which he was rushed to the hospital but doctor declared him brought dead.
