A 20-year-old woman was raped by her neighbour.According to sources, the matter came to light late in on Sunday night, the victim, a resident of lodhi village in Gomia block has filed a written complaint saying she was raped at her house by one of her neighbours, a 25-year-old Mosin.
The woman approached the Gomia police on Sunday evening claiming that a youth identified as Mosin had forcibly entered her house when I was alone at house and raped her.
According to the statement by victim’s father, his daughter has been living alone at her house.
One of her neighbours, in a drunken state, took advantage of the absence of her parents one evening, forcibly entered her house and raped her and escaped from the spot seeing neighbours approaching the house. No arrest has been made so far.
