According to the DIG police Palamu Ravikant Dhan the two SBI officials continue to be under the captivity of the PlFI kidnappers. The two officials are A Kerketta ( accountant) and AnupKumar lal (field officer) of the Panki branch of the SBI. Three SBI officials Kerketta, lal and Parmod Kumar ( branch manager) of the Panki branch of the SBI were kidnapped on July 27 Saturday near Taal Ghatee on way to Ranchi on Herhunj road. Kumr re surfaced on Sunday.
The two a tribal officer and a dalit one remain under the captivity of the PlFI. The Panki branch of the SBI did not do any financial transaction said sources. Sources said the PlFI have held these two for hefty ransom now beingdemanded and talk of which has become quite a public thing here. The DIG expressed hope that the release of these two would be achieved sooner. However it appears it may get late even by a day more.
