Taking action in the gang-rape case of a tribal woman in Serengdag police station area of the district, the police arrested both the jawans on Thursday. In this case, dismissal action is also being taken against both the jawans. Case number 32/2022 has been registered in the Mahila police station regarding the incident. After the instructions of the DGP in the matter, DIG Anish Gupta is monitoring the entire matter. Following the instructions of DIG Anish Gupta, Lohardaga SP R Ramkumar himself reached the Serengdag picket and investigated the whole matter. The culprits have been identified after rigorous interrogation. During interrogation, the convicts have accepted their involvement in the incident. After this, both the jawans Krishan Kant Tiwari and Ajay Bada have been arrested. Looking at the condition of the woman, the woman is being treated by the doctors of RIMS. According to doctors, all limits of cruelty to the woman have been crossed. Along with the rape, the private part of the woman has been attacked with a sharp weapon. Due to which the woman has suffered serious injuries in the internal organ. This does not stop the bleeding of the woman. At present, the treatment of the victim is going on in RIMS under the supervision of Dr. Sheetal Malwa.
