Ramana and Chiniya police jointly arrested two criminals involved in the loot of Rs 1.5 lakh at Sawdhan Ghati under Chiniya police station on June 24. Police also recovered looted money of Rs 70,000 and a country made pistol from the house of Banshi.
According to Ramana officer-in-charge Kalim Akhtar, on June 24, both criminals were involved in the loot of Rs 1.5 lakh from a micro finance company at Sawdhan Ghati.
After the incident, police had taken Mukesh into custody. During interrogation, he revealed his involvement and disclosed the name of Banshi. Later, police arrested Banshi from NH 75 and recovered one pistol which was used in the loot of Rs 70,000 from his house.
Police sent them to judicial custody.
