The Garhwa district police have arrested two criminals including one dreaded criminal cum former Maoist Sushil Kumar Ram alias Ritesh ji alias Nitesh ji. Sushil remained active in the Maoist organization for 12 years. He was an aide of top Maoist leaders Prashant Bose and Arvind ji. Along with this, he was involved in planting bombs in the stomach of the police in the famous incident of Katia forest under Latehar district. SP Anjani Kumar Jha gave this information after holding a press conference in the conference hall, on Monday.
He said that the accused Sushil is originally a resident of Dachhrabar village of Pandu police station area under Palamu district. He has already been jailed for militant violence in the years 2010 and 2013. After his release from jail in 2019, he again joined the Maoist squad. After that he separated from the organization and formed his own criminal organization called Bharatiya Public Communist Party. He was the supreme of the criminal organization.
The SP said that on the basis of secret information, his arrest was made from the house of Dashrath Ram, resident of Now Bhilma of Kandi police station area. Dasaratha has also been arrested by the police. He was trying to strengthen the organization in Kandi by staying with him.
The SP said that on July 25, 2021, a criminal organization named Bharatiya Public Communist Party had carried out the incident of setting fire several vehicles at the site of a road construction company in Dhurki police station area. Prior to that, on June 25, the organization had carried out the kidnapping of the company's site engineer.
