Police on Wednesday busted an inter-district racket involved in different cyber criminal activities in Giridih and its nearby areas and arrested two persons. The prompt intervention of Cyber Dy SP Sandip Suman Samdarshi, lnspector Sahdeo Prasad and Ganday police resulted in the arrest of two of the gang members from line hotel near Dhobiya more of Ganday in Giridih here on Wednesday morning identified as Mukesh Yadav and Badri Yadav.
During interrogation, Mukesh and Badri accepted their involvement in a number of cases related to cyber crime and use to call several customers as bank officials and ask their pin number in other districts like Bokaro and Hazaribagh if they failed to disclose their pin number and posing as a bank manager he would be closed their bank account. Mukesh used to provide the information of bank account and ATM and pin numbers to other men of his gang for easy transfer in his account.
