A large number of farmers are on the streets in four states decrying three farm Acts and MSP issue but back here in Jharkhand’s Latehar district 2,980 farmers are soon to get digitally their crop compensation money under disaster management.
COs and bankers have been put on alert to reach the compensation to the farmers digitally. DC Latehar Abu Imran, who is the district disaster management authority, said these 2,980 farmers will get crop compensation as sanction order for disbursement of the compensation has been accorded to in the January 6 meeting of the district disaster management authority. Abu Imran said COs have been directed to get in touch with the bank managers of their branches in their respective circles to facilitate the digital transfer of the crop compensation to the farmers.
