On Saturday 12th November 2016 national lok adalat was organised in civil court premises of Hazaribagh. Principle district and session’s judge Vishnukant Sahay inaugurated the lok adalat with lighting the lamp. In this annual national lok adalat 181742 disputes were solved.
The secretary of DlSA Sanjeev Jha informed in the evening that 25 benches worked from morning to evening to solve the disputes. Recovery of Rs1,98,94,495 was made through this lok adalat. In this lok adalat cases related with banks, electricity department, matrimonial disputes, services, crime etc. were solved. The maximum number of disputes solved were of pre litigation nature.
The judges of Hazaribagh district and session courts, advocates and staffs of the civil court worked for the success of this lok adalat. The officials of different departments also played an important role along with general people to solve the disputes.
