An 18-year-old youth in Bengabad block in Giridih district reportedly died after he was bitten by a venomous snake while sleeping his house at Samudih village, sources said .
local officials reportedly told The Pioneer that the youth, identified as Dhasrath Tuddu, died on Wednesday after being bitten by a venomous snake.
According to reports the youth namely Dasrath Tuddu has been sleeping at his house at Samudih village in Bengabad block of the district while he was bitten .First of all, he was taken to a traditional tantric healer in the next village .The tantric,s methods appeared ineffective and villagers have then decided to rush him at nearby hospital where the doctors on duty declared him dead ,villager said .
“He survived for four or five hours after the snake bite but died because medical treatment was delayed, local said.
