On the completion of one year tenure of incumbent Vice Chancellor of Vinoba Bhave University, Mukul Naryan Dev, the VC presented the details of works and achievements of the university. The examination department of the university has published 177 results of different courses in a year. As many as 350 pending cases of retired teachers were also cleared by the Finance department on priority basis.
Dev said that during his first year of the tenure he has done so much constructive work. A solar plant of 100 KVA came into function for the needs of university offices and also the post graduate department. The varsity has started a digital studio in the administrative block.
He further said, “We have given 25 per cent rebate in the fees during the corona period in all self-financed courses in the university headquarter, as well as in the constituent colleges. We have started the digital board in every post graduate department. This work will be completed within one month.”
“The multi- purpose examination building, Indoor stadium and multi -purpose building is ready. These buildings will be handed over to the university very early. We have tried our best to help the poor students in the university,” he added.
Dev said, “We have cleared maximum cases of retired teachers, which was pending for a long time. This is the only university in Jharkhand, which is releasing the salary of the teachers and non- teaching staff on the first day of every month.”
The VC said he got the full cooperation of teachers, officers, non – teaching staff, students and guardians during a year.
