In a tragic incident a 15-year-old girl died in a fire mishap at her relative's house on Gauri Shankar Road under Jugsalai police station area on Monday.
The victim, Tabassum Parveen, was burnt while trying to fix a kerosene stove at her home on Monday morning. She later succumbed to her injuries at the Tata Main Hospital's burn care unit. She was planning to take admission at Women's College. The victim's father Abdul Kalam said that her daughter was supposed to visit another relative's place later in the day so she was in hurry while fixing stove.
Kalam said after returning home at Muzaffarpur in Bihar from steel city next week Tabassum would have taken admission in a Women's College. She used to stay in Muzaffarpur with her mother while her father runs a fruit business at Jamshedpur. Officer-in-charge of Jugsalai police station, Arun Kumar Mishra confirmed that the 15-year-old girl Tabassum died of burn injuries.
