At latoo under Bareysarn police station in latehar district security forces recovered 13 IEDs. These IEDs were of the Maoists.Confirming this recovery of 13 IEDs SP latehar Anoop Birtharey said these were hidden at the foot hill of Boorha Pahar.
Security forces of Chhatisgarh, Garhwa and latehar are scouring the areas under anti naxal operation added Birtharey. It was found during the search operation.Incidentally latoo comes also under tiger reserve Palamu which over the years has been nicknamed as terror reserve because of the infestation of Maoists including their top cadres like Arvind Ji and Sudhakaran and dotting of the areas with IEDs.
Each of the 13 IEDs weighed two kilograms. All were destroyed by a team of BDS added SP.
