A total of 1,122 pensioners of Hazaribagh town, who were getting benefit of Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme, Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme, Indira Gandhi National Handicapped Pension Scheme and State old Age Pension Scheme are missing.
This fact has been figured out after the recent survey made by district administration to make new list of pension scheme beneficiaries. The surveyors have submitted their report in which they have mentioned the above fact which is certified by ward councilors and tax collectors of the area.
After going through this report, DC Sunil Kumar has ordered to stop pension of these missing beneficiaries and has ordered that if any such missing beneficiary reports within two months then after proper verification his/her pension may again be started.
The district administration has provided the list of missing pensioners to the block office, municipal corporation office and social welfare department.DC has appealed to the political and social workers of the town that if they know about any such missing pensioner then send him to above mentioned any office.
