A total of 100 underprivileged people benefited from a medical camp under SAIL CSR initiative which was organised at Asha Kiran Shelter Home, Khuti . Around 100 of the beneficiaries were pre-registered by the volunteers. A total no. of 6 city doctors from different specialties gave their yeoman services for the society. The Medical camp started at 9:30 am and ended at 2 PM.
Children and Women were a significant part of the beneficiaries and were handed over substantial supplements of vitamins, Iron etc. depending upon their assessments. Paramedical staff support was provided from Ispat & Paras Hospitals. Apart from Dr. Anil, Dr. Gajendra Kumar, Dr. SK Srivastav, Dr. JK Rath, Dr. AK Verma, Dr. Madhulika Horo, dedicated themselves for the camp. P.M Hembrom, CGM(Personnel) , Ujjwal Bhaskar, GM & COC, GM Chaudhary, DGM (RDCIS), Pankaj Priya, DGM, (SSO) and Ram Das Tigga from SAIL Ranchi graced the occasion. Also food packets were distributed among the beneficiaries.
