On the direction of the Reserve Bank of India, the branches of banks in the district have launched a 100 days, 100 pay plan. In this plan the banks will pay such an unclaimed amount to the account holders, who have not withdrawn their amount in the last ten years. The banks of Hazaribag have to concentrate on such persons who are in need of loans from banks.

This plan was launched in the DLBCC ( District Level Bankers Coordination Committee) meeting in the seminar hall of the deputy commissioner office. The meeting was presided over by deputy commissioner Nancy Sahay.

The DC reviewed the progress of the government plan which was run by the banks. The deputy commissioner said that the banking system must be under the reach of the common persons or the last person of the society.

She further said that the banks must provide loans under the schemes of Kisan Credit Cards, Pradhanmantri employment creation schemes, Mudra Yojana and other government plans.

DC further said that the maximum application of PMEGP has been rejected by the lead bank manager of the district. She has suggested to the banks they must review the rejected application again and provide the loan to the applicant.

She has emphasized on the KCC, animal husbandry and fishing, the loan must be available to said plan as maximum as possible. She said that the banks must complete the target of different plans which are running with the help of banks in the district.

She has warned such banks who are behind the target that they must achieve the target as early as possible, otherwise the district administration is bound to write the complaint to the headquarters of related banks. She has also suggested improving the ratio of Credit-Deposit in every bank.

In the meeting the deputy development commissioner Prerna Dixit, LDM of banks and all bank managers of the banks were present.
