A man was convicted and awarded 10 years Rigorous Imprisonment by the district court Bokaro for raping a teen girl at Bokaro.
Two years after a teen girl (14) was raped, the district and session judge-I Babita Prasad court of Bokaro district convicted Prashuram a resident of Bahagada under Marafari police station of Bokaro district and awarded him 10 years RI and Rs3000 fine.
The victim was close kin (Sister-in-laws) of the offender, she was raped continuously in 2014 and later the she conceived, informed Rakesh Ojha, advocate of the district court Bokaro.
The offender first coaxed the girl with his sweet talk; one night he took the girl in dark closed her mouth with cloths and raped her in March 2014 and continued till four months. The matter got exposed after the girl’s mother found the primary symptoms of pregnancy with her daughter, said Ojha adding “later a complaint was filed by her mother at Marafari police station.
