It is an innovative awareness drive amongst the community through jingle and appeal messages, but it will also involve the community in participating and depositing the container in vehicles that have potential for Aedes breeding and are unattained to remove breeding resources permanently .
As dengue, malaria, chikungunya etc spread mostly in the rainy season, therefore preventive measures are required and this initiative which has started today will continue in this activity till 30th of September Through this van and some other initiatives, people living in urban settlements of the city would be made aware to identify the breeding places of mosquitoes and prevent their breeding.
