School Education and Literacy Department Secretary visited the construction site of centralized Akshaypatra kitchen work and instructed the officers of the education department that it should work from the month of September 2023.
Kumar said that the photo of progress of work along with a detailed report must be submitted to the department within 15 days. The deputy commissioner was accompanying the education secretary during the visit.
The education secretary was not happy with the progress of building and other work. He called the executive engineer of the building division and asked about the reason of delay. He instructed the officers to start the functioning of the kitchen.
After visiting the site, a meeting of the officers was called by the Secretary. He asked the education department officers of Hazaribag to monitor the work properly and send the report every 15 days along with photo to the state education department.
He further said that after the starting of this important plan of the government students can get hot and fresh food in every school.
DC Nancy Sahay told to the education secretary that they have given order of electronic equipment for the centralized kitchen. After getting the items installation will begin.
She further said that after completion of construction and install work we will place the order of supply of vans, which will be helpful in transportation of the hot and fresh meal of the students.
In the meeting district education officer, district superintendent of education and regional president of Akshaypatara Swamy Vyom Pad Das and other officers were present.
