Youths showed great enthusiasm in availing facilities provided at the Chhattisgarh Transport Department's stall at the Rajyotsava at the Science College Ground here.
On-the-spot learning licenses were provided to 500 young people. Transport related services are being made easier and convenient for the citizens by the department.
Citing success of "Tuhar Sarkar Tuhar Dwar", a communication from the Transport Department said on Sunday that about 14 lakh smart card registration certificates and driving licenses have been delivered to people at their homes.

A total of 235 transport facility centers have been set up in the state so that people can avoid agents and touts.
Moreover, under the Electric Vehicle Policy 2022, services such as road tax fee waiver, DBT, exemption from permit and conventional fuel, and 10 percent subsidy (up to Rs 1.50 lakh) are also available.
