With a view to introduce students to the democratic system, Chhattisgarh's School Education Department will hold a Youth Parliament competition.
The competition will start from January 27 in Raipur division. The first phase will be held at the development block from January 27 to February 5 and at the district level from February 6 to 15, an official communication said on Wednesday.
The last phase will be held at the division level from February 18 to 25.
Teams of students from Class 6 to 9 and 11 of government schools of five districts of Raipur division -- Raipur, Mahasamund, Dhamtari, Gariaband and Balodabazar-Bhatapara -- will participate in the competition.
The first and second placed teams will be awarded a collective trophy and certificate.
