Chief Minister Raman Singh on Friday urged the people to take revenge on the Congress for breach of promises. Addressing a huge crowd at Bazar Charbhata, in Pandaria Assembly segment, the Chief Minister said the lok Sabha election which will be held on April 17 in the State is extremely crucial for the country. While campaigning for his son and BJP candidate Abhishek, Singh said, “I have full faith, the way you blessed me, you will bless him too, even more.”
The Congress had made false promises to the people. It cheated the common men. It pushed the country 50 years backward, the Chief Minister said while campaigning for his son and BJP candidate Abhishek Singh.
Highlighting the problems the country is facing now, the Chief Minister said the inflation moved up to its highest, prices of dal, oil, sugar, salt, wheat, rice, petrol, diesel, gas cylinders were allowed to shoot up. “Time has come for the people to take revenge for the rising inflation. We should inform through the strength of our vote that we are fed up with the price rise,” he said.
Singh said the love, support and cooperation of the people has been always with him and the BJP. About his son, Singh said Abhishek has started his political career from Bazar Charbhata. He had never thought of joining politics when he had visited the region to attend a cultural programme during Dusherra. It was because of their insistence and love, he is the BJP candidate here, Singh said. “I have full faith, the way you blessed me, you will bless him too even more, Singh said.
Singh said Manmohan and Sonia at the Centre are set for exit. Be it north or south, the entire country has a wave in favour of Modi. This election will create a record. The Congress is going to face the worst defeat since the country’s independence. It will not be able to win even 70 seats, he said. On the other hand, the BJP will get absolute majority, Modi will become the Prime minister and we will get rid of inflation, price rise and bad governance, he said.
