The Youth Congress workers on Sunday rendered voluntary services and cleansed the roads and nullahs at Adarsh Nagar, ATM Chowk and Khalbada area of Gudiyari.
Youth Congress leader Vinod Tiwari said the cleaning arrangement in the three areas of Gudiyari was deteriorating for the last few days and garbage were accumulated at places.
The nullahs were full of filth and the people of the area were facing untold problems because of the foul smell. looking to the civic problem, the Youth Congress workers have decided to render voluntary services and cleanse the road and nullahs of the area, he said.
The Youth Congress workers said that during the cleaning work they had taken out several tonnes of garbage and filth in four hours.
They have warned that if cleaning arrangement of the areas has not been streamlined in the coming days, they would throw the whole garbage of the area on the table of the zone commissioner.
