Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel promised on Thursday to provide helicopter ride to Class 10 and 12 toppers of Balrampur-Ramanujganj district along with other top 10 students in Chhattisgarh.
He made the announcement while addressing the media at Rajpur in the district.
The Chief Minister said the motive of the announcement was to encourage students to improve their academic performance and help shape their dreams.
“I inspected three Swami Atmanand English School during my visit to Samri constituency on Wednesday. During my interaction, I realized that there is no dearth of talent in students. They just need strong motivation to give results to their full potential.
"Class 10 and 12 results will be declared soon and I am sure that our students will get motivation if they get some unique reward for their achievement,” Baghel said.
He said he decided to make this announcement after seeing the excitement among children and even adults when his helicopter landed here.
“I believe that taking a helicopter ride will motivate students to achieve big goals."
