The Safety Awareness Week observed by Wire Rod Mill (WRM), held at Welfare Building of the Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) concluded here. The chief guest on the occasion was General Manager I/c (Merchant Mill & WRM) R K Sinha. In his address, Sinha appreciated the efforts of all those who contributed for ensuring the success of all activities undertaken during Safety Awareness Week in the plant. Special invitee, DGM (Safety Engineering) S Choudhari, stated that over-confidence also proves disastrous while undertaking risky assignments. Several safety based contests like Poster, Quiz and Slogan making etc were organised. A film based on safety measures was also screened. During the Week, Fire fighting and use of fire extinguishing equipments were demonstrated and guidelines regarding First Aid were also provided.
