This has to be done under third phase of the National Hydrology Project (2016-24), a press communiqué said.

There is wide gap between demand and supply of water resources as the need is increasing day-by-day for irrigation, domestic and industrial use, experts said.

Hydrological modeling is needed to ensure the best management of the available water resources, it was stressed.
