A workshop of Integrated livelihood Campaign was held at Saankra village (Jonkh) of Pithora Development block in the district. The workshop was on employment,self-employment, skill development, training, and various schemes available for the youth.
The district administration conducted the workshop to create awareness among the educated youth regarding the employment opportunities in State.A large number of men and women attended the workshop. They asked questions to the officers and updated their knowledge regarding the avenues available for them.About 30 candidates registered in Chhattisgarh State Skills Development Authority in computers, sewing, medical, nursing and driving . About 36 candidates got registered for Dena Self-Employment and Rural Training Institution. The students of 10th and 12th were given career guidance course.
