A two-day workshop on “Emerging Technology and Strategy in Grid Operation” concluded at State load Dispatch Centre of Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission Company limited (CSPTCl), Dangania of here on Wednesday.
The programme was held under guidance of experts from Western Region load Dispatch Centre (WRlDC).
Executive Director of WRlDC, V.K. Shrivastava inaugurated the workshop and through video conferencing threw light on the importance of workshop.
Experts from Mumbai apprised in detail about the better grid operations. It must be written here that these kinds of workshop are instrumental in bring technology to a new level.
Assistant General Manager (AGM) WRlDC, Pushpa S., S.S. Raghwanshi, Assistant General Manger, Vivek Pandey, Aditya Das, Abhishek, Pradip Sanodia, Naresh Malhas discussed in the workshop about frequency control in grid operations, credibility of system, software open access and web scheduling software.
Deputy General Manager WRlDC, Sachala Mishra who was here to participate in the workshop also inspected the load dispatch centers in the state.
She appreciated the backup load Dispatch Centre at Khedamara and said that it was worth following by the other states too.
Executive Director, K.S. Manothia, B.R. Soni, N.K. Bijora and other senior officials of CSPTCl were present in the workshop.
