A three-day national workshop on ‘Artistic Medium of Expression’ being organised by Kushabhau Thakre University of Journalism and Mass Communication (KTUJM), Raipur in joint association with Department of Culture, Chhattisgarh Government and Sanskar Bharti, a voluntary organisation will begin here on Friday.
Prof. Pankaj Chande, former Chairman, Association of Indian Universities will be the chief guest on the inaugural session of the workshop at 11 am in the campus. Vasudeo Kamath, National president, Sanskar Bharti shall be the special guest.
Three technical sessions have been scheduled on the first day in which experts from different art faculty shall deliver lectures. Shiva Sahu on Photography, Rajnath Singh Surya on Journalism and Writing and Dr (Ms) TS Satyavati on Music. Udayan Indurkar shall deliver a lecture on Temple Architecture in the evening.
On the second day, four technical sessions would be conducted. Adwait Gananayak will deliver lecture on Architecture, Dr Ashok Chaturvedi on New Media and Communication, Vasudeo Kamat on Painting and Dr Mandvi Singh on Dance. Shanti Bai Chelak shall deliver a demonstration lecture on Pandwani in the evening.
On the concluding day, there will be three technical sessions where Prof. M S Parma will be delivering lecture on Creative writing, Devendra Raj Ankur on Theatre and Achyutanand Mishra on Indian Context in Journalism.
Minister for Higher Education, State Government, Prem Prakash Pandey shall be the chief guest on the concluding day whereas renowned film maker Dr Chandra Prakash Dwivedi will the main speaker on the occasion.
