District Collector O P Choudhary held a meeting on Sunday with the officials of Indian Railways, Chhattisgarh Road Development Corporation and Public Works Department regarding construction of 22 km long Expressway from Kendri village located in Naya Raipur to Raipur Railway Station
Notably, the construction of Expressway will provide benefit of direct access route to Railway Station from Naya Raipur to the commuters besides reducing traffic congestion.
During the meeting, the Collector directed the Railway and Revenue officials to remove the technical problems arising put of implementation of the project within a week besides removal of encroachment along with the shifting of the affected people.
In this meeting, Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Nilesh Mahadev Kshirsagar and Additional Collector SN Rathore were present.
