A seminar on women’s empowerment was organized at the Raipur Railway Division as part of its ongoing ‘Communal Harmony Week’ here. The week which was kick started on November 19 will conclude on Friday. Various programmes like seminar, special cultural and educational programmes were held during the week.
Addressing the seminar, Pushplata Gautam while mentioning the contribution of women towards national unity also lauded working women for the work-home life balance they have maintained.
Senior Divisional Personnel officer, Dharshana B Ahluwalia, Divisional Finance Manager Megha Agrawal, along with other participants also shared their views.
During the seminar, the women officers expressed the need for making working women aware towards issues like sexual harassment at workplace. Several other important issues were also discussed.
