Body of a woman and her two daughters aged 3 and one-and-half years old respectively were found in their house on Monday, police said.
The deceased identified as Bharti Markande wife of Chhaviram Markande (26) used to live in labour quarters at Bharat Tiles factory at Urla.
On Monday, while Chhaviram had gone on work, locals found smoke emanating from the quarter. They then broke open the door and were shocked to find mother-daughter lying on the floor.
The victims were rushed to the hospital where doctors declared them brought dead, City Superintendent of Police (CSP) Archana Jha informed.
The reason of fire is yet to be known. Police has registered a case in this connection and have begun investigations, she said.
