A woman Maoist carrying a reward of Rs 8 lakh on her head surrendered on Thursday to security forces in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh.
Kawasi Bhime was a member of the South Bastar Battalion Number 1 of the outlawed CPI (Maoist), Sukma Superintendent of Police Kiran Chavhan said.
She was involved in several Maoist incidents in the last eight years.
