A woman Naxalite carrying a bounty of Rs 8 lakhs on her head on Saturday surrendered to security forces in Sukma district in Chhattisgarh.
Vetti Mangi, who turned herself in, was impressed with the police rehabilitation drive, Sukma Superintendent of Police Sunil Sharma said.
She was a member of the Mad Division Company Number-1 under the Kutul Area Committee of the outlawed Maoist outfit.
She joined the Maoist organization in 2017 and was involved in several Naxalite incidents.
