Security forces rounded up a female member of banned Maoist organisation ‘Jan Militia’. A cash reward of `5,000 was imposed on her arrest, informed Additional Superintendent of Police Surjeet Atri on Wednesday.
The ASP informed that arrested female left wing extremist was hard core Naxal and the local court had issued permanent arrest warrant in her name.The arrest was made during a search operation by a joint team of CRPF and district police from village Malnar under Mardapal police station on a tip off, ASP informed.
The joint police team had started on search/area domination exercise from Mardapal police station in Mardapal, Mulnar, lakhapuri and Malnar villages. Police sources during the operation informed cops that a member of Jan Militia had reached her home in Malnar village. Based on input raid was conducted and Mate Bai alias Janki alias Kumar Bai wife of Nekchand Mandavi was arrested, ASP claimed.
She was involved in serious criminal incidents like attacking police parties, murder, attempt to murder and also attacking polling parties. A cash reward of `5,000 was declared on her arrest, ASP maintained.
