Hassled by her two-year-old son's demand to be breast-fed, a woman in Chhattisgarh's Korba district killed her toddler by banging him on the floor of the house, police said on Thursday.
The incident took place on Wednesday in Sector 5, about 10 km from Korba town.
The police have detained the woman and questioned her, Korba Superintendent of Police Bhojraj Patel said. The child was rushed to a hospital with serious head injuries but was declared dead on arrival.
