Chhattisgarh Police on Friday arrested a woman and seized 18 grams of brown sugar valued at Rs 5 lakh in Ambikapur town in Surguja district, police said on Friday.
Ambikapur In-charge Additional Superintendent of Police Chanchal Tiwari told The Pioneer that Asha Pandey from Ambikapur town has been taken into custody.
Acting on a tip off that the woman was looking for customers, the police laid a trap and nabbed her with the drugs at Brahma Para.
