Chhattisgarh Police on Monday arrested five persons including a woman for human trafficking in Dhamtari district.
Dhamtari Superintendent of Police Dharmendra Singh identified them as Chintaram Korram, Shankar Mongraj, his wife Vimla, Suresh alias Bablu Dashhare and Kailash Ghasaria.
Korram was nabbed from Sihawa town in the district following a tip about the trafficking of girls from Padampur and Ghathula villages in Madhya Pradesh.
He named the others who were also arrested from Raipur as well as Balaghat, also in Madhya Pradesh.
