Hitting back at Congress legislator Kawasi lakhma, the ruling Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday said if lakhma is innocent, in the deadly attack on Congress convoy in Bastar in May last year, then why is he scared of the narco test.

It was the then United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government at the Centre which had ordered a NIA probe into the killings of top Congress leaders by Maoists in Jeeram valley, on the recommendation of the Chhattisgarh Government.
Sharma said the statement given by Congress leader and sitting MlA from Konta in Bastar region, lakhma on Chief Minister Raman Singh is like “pot calling the kettle black”.
“If lakhma is innocent in May 25 incident he should be ready for Narco test or any other probe,’’ the BJP hit back at lakhma, an ardent supporter of former Chief Minister Ajit Jogi.
The BJP leader claimed that top State leaders were martyred in Jeeram valley carnage and the truth behind it must come out before the public. “If any body was involved in the conspiracy he should be thoroughly exposed,” Sharma demanded.
