A retired woman health worker, tested Covid-19 positive two-days ago, cast her vote at Ward number 10 of Narharpur Nagar Panchayat by wearing PPE kit. She was brought from the hospital in an ambulance to vote.
Returning Officer Dr Kalpana Dhruv said that as a safety measure the presiding officer, polling officer 01, 02, and 03 and all other employees deputed in the polling booth also wore PPE kit. The polling booth was sanitized after she left as a precautionary measure.
