Congress party National Treasurer Motilal Vora on Tuesday met Chief Election Commissioner VS Sampath in New Delhi and lodged a complaint with him regarding the alleged irregularities committed in handling of postal ballots in Chhattisgarh.
Vora said that the list of postal ballots had not been handed to the Congress party in the State while demanding that the postal ballots be counted first in the State. He also complained to the CEC that the EVMs are not being placed properly. Earlier, Congress party leaders had lodged a similar complaint regarding postal ballots with the Chhttisgarh’s Chief Election Officer Sunil Kujur.
