The Chhattisgarh High Court will function in the virtual mode from January 11 to 31 in view of a massive spike in daily new Covid-19 cases in the state.
Fresh filing will continue through the filing counters, Sanjay Kumar Jaiswal, the Registrar General, said in an order issued on Saturday.
All the section rank officers and their equivalent should be present daily on working days while the remaining staff in the section will be present on a rotational basis.
No officer and employee of the court will be allowed to leave headquarters without prior information.
To avoid overcrowding, advocates are requested to enter the court premises only if they have to file cases or their cases are listed in any of the courts.
The court officer is directed to look after the sanitization, thermal screening and wearing of masks personally as well as through CCTV cameras.
If need arises, the guidelines will be subject to further modification.
