A delegation of villagers from Raipur, Gariaband, Durg and Balod districts along with Sarpanch of village Sankara in Dhamtari district called on Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Ajay Chandrakar on Monday at his residential office and conveyed their grievances. The Minister gave patient hearing to grievances of delegation members and assured them of extending every possible support. The delegation handed over proposal for construction of drains in Sankra village for better water-exit facility. They also told Chandrakar about the persisting problems in village Nipani of Balod block and district. The Minister gave assurance that their demands and grievances will be considered and redressed soon.
